The Evaluation of Energy Performances of a Net Zero Energy Building: An Italian Case Study

Over the past decades the impact of construction on the primary energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions has highlighted [1]. The interest of the international scientific community has therefore focused on the concept of a Net Zero Energy Solar Building (NZESB), which is generally defined as a building that produces all primary energy it needs during a year [2]. En este artículo se indaga en la imagen de ciencia de estudiantes de Magisterio de distintas especialidades, posibles futuros docentes de disciplinas científicas en la etapa de Educación Primaria (6-12 años). La investigación, en la que han participado 1260 estudiantes, se realizó durante tres cursos académicos comprendidos entre 2008 y 2011. Basado en el análisis de un cuestionario extraído del INPECIP, este estudio arroja como principales conclusiones que los participantes no poseen un conocimiento claro de cómo se genera y evoluciona el conocimiento científico. Actes du colloque de l'Apfée, Conseil Régional Rhône-Alpes, 19 octobre 2002; Il s'agit d'une synthèse (plus sélective qu'exhaustive) des résultats de recherches empiriques françaises portant sur le fonctionnement du CP, articulée selon le plan suivant : dans un premier temps, l'auteur centre son propos sur la diversitié des acquisitions des élèves à l'entrée au CP et il identifie les facteurs qui sont à l'origine de cette diversité ; dans un second temps, il s'intéresse à l'évolution des écarts entre élèves pendant l'année de CP, et plus particulièrement des écarts sociaux ; un troisième point est consacré à l'influence des variables scolaires et pédagogiques sur les progressions des élèves.

Polymerase chain reaction of enterococcus faecalis and candida albicans in apical periodontitis from Turkish patients.

Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of two important pathogenic microorganisms associated with endodontic infections, Enterococcus faecalis and Candida albicans, in root canal samples from patients with necrotic pulps or failed canal therapy by polymerase chain reaction method. Method: Microbial samples were obtained from 117 teeth with necrotic pulp tissues and 114 teeth with failed endodontic treatment. Results: E.faecalis were identified in 16% of the necrotic and 10% of the retreated root canal infections by PCR. Versican and Tumor-Associated Macrophages Promotes Tumor Progression and Metastasis in Canine and Murine Models of Breast Carcinoma

Versican and tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are involved in growth and metastases in several cancers. Here, we investigated the potential role of versican, a matrix proteoglycan, and its correlation with TAMs infiltrates in different stages of two different breast cancer models: spontaneous canine mammary gland carcinomas and the murine 4T1 breast cancer model. The stromal versican expression was correlated with TAMs accumulation in tumors with an advanced stage from spontaneous canine mammary carcinoma samples.
